Welcome to Poésie Perdue. By visiting this website or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
Poésie Perdue Subscriptions
Poésie Perdue is a recurring monthly poetry and art subscription delivered by mail.
When you subscribe, your first payment is charged at checkout for the current month’s mailing. Your subscription will then automatically renew on the 10th of each month unless you cancel, pause, or update your subscription before that date.
You may manage, pause, or cancel your subscription through your customer account. Cancellations made after a renewal payment has processed apply to future renewals and do not automatically refund the current month’s order.
Because each monthly mailing is planned, printed, and prepared in advance, please cancel before the 10th of the month if you do not wish to be charged for that month’s edition.
Snail Mail Shipping
Poésie Perdue snail-mail subscriptions are mailed on or around the 20th of each month.
For members in the United States, please allow up to 10 days after the mailing date for your poem to arrive.
For international members, please allow approximately 2–5 weeks after the mailing date. International delivery times can vary because of customs processing, local postal systems, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside of Poésie Perdue’s control.
If you have not received your U.S. or international Poésie Perdue letter within one month of the mailing date, please email me at poesieperdue.hf@gmail.com so I can help.
Poésie Perdue monthly snail mail is sent with a standard postage stamp. These mailings do not include tracking information, and estimated delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
Address Changes & Returned Mail
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout and for keeping your address current.
Please update your mailing address through your customer account, or email poesieperdue.hf@gmail.com, before the 15th of the month whenever possible. Address updates received after that time may not apply to the upcoming mailing.
Poésie Perdue is not responsible for mail that is delayed, lost, returned, or undeliverable because an address was entered incorrectly, is incomplete, or was not updated in time.
If a mailing is returned to Poésie Perdue, I can resend it after you confirm the correct address. You may be responsible for the cost of reshipment.
International Orders
International delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Orders may be delayed by customs, local postal services, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside of Poésie Perdue’s control.
Any customs duties, taxes, VAT, or import fees charged by your destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.
Original Artwork
Original artworks are packaged and shipped separately from regular Poésie Perdue snail mail whenever needed to ensure they arrive safely.
Original artwork is shipped with tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.
Please make sure your shipping address is secure and able to receive packages. Once a tracked package is marked as delivered by the carrier, Poésie Perdue is not responsible for loss or theft after delivery. If you experience an issue, please contact poesieperdue.hf@gmail.com and I will do my best to help you pursue any available carrier options.
If an original arrives damaged, please keep all packaging and contact poesieperdue.hf@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the artwork, shipping box or envelope, packaging, and shipping label so I can help evaluate the issue and support any carrier claim.
Original artwork is final sale unless it arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from its description.
Made-to-Order Prints & Notebooks
Prints and notebooks are made to order especially for you. Please allow 10 business days for your item to be created and prepared before it ships. Shipping transit time begins after this production period and is separate from processing time.
Because made-to-order items are created after purchase, orders cannot be cancelled, changed, returned, or refunded once production has begun.
Please review your item selection, size, quantity, and shipping address carefully before placing your order.
Made-to-order prints and notebooks may ship separately from subscription mail, original artwork, or other items in your order. They may arrive in separate packages and on different dates.
Small variations in color, paper texture, print placement, or finish may occur due to the handmade and printed nature of these pieces, as well as differences between screens and physical materials. These variations are natural and are not considered defects.
If a print or notebook arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please email poesieperdue.hf@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the item, packaging, and shipping label. Where appropriate, I may offer a replacement, store credit, or another suitable resolution.
Refunds & Returns
Due to the handmade, printed, limited-edition, and made-to-order nature of Poésie Perdue products, subscription payments, monthly mailings, originals, prints, and notebooks are generally non-refundable and non-returnable once they have been processed or shipped.
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, incorrect, or materially different from its description, please contact poesieperdue.hf@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. I will review the issue and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, store credit, or another suitable resolution.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
Handmade Variations
Poésie Perdue items are created, printed, packed, and selected with care. Because of their handmade and small-batch nature, slight variations in color, texture, paper edges, printing, placement, and finish may occur.
Product photographs are intended to represent each item as accurately as possible, but colors may appear differently depending on your screen. Natural variations are part of the character of handmade work and are not considered defects.
Copyright & Personal Use
All poems, artwork, photographs, designs, written materials, website content, and other original content created by Poésie Perdue remain the intellectual property of Poésie Perdue and the artist unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing an item gives you the right to enjoy and keep the physical item for personal use only. It does not give permission to reproduce, scan, distribute, publish, sell, alter, use commercially, use for AI training, or create derivative works from any Poésie Perdue poem, artwork, design, or written material without prior written permission.
Please do not reproduce a poem or artwork in full online, in print, or in another publication without written permission. You are welcome to share photographs of your Poésie Perdue mail or a short excerpt while crediting Poésie Perdue.
Product Availability
Some products, original artworks, editions, or subscription offerings may be limited in quantity or available only for a limited time. Poésie Perdue reserves the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or update product descriptions and pricing at any time.
Changes to These Terms
Poésie Perdue may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version posted on this website applies to purchases made after the effective date shown at the top of this page.
